More control

This paddle gives you a lot more control over shots. I found the handle to be a little slippery when my hand perspires so put a tacky over the handle. Also helped because I I found handle narrow. Overall pleased with paddle but it is taking time getting used to.

Tempest Wave 2

I was really impressed with the feel of the shots coming off the paddle. I was concerned about other reviews saying the paddle had no power. I have no problem making power shots when needed. Very happy with this paddle.

Seems to apply a spin easily. I had demoed other paddles with more texture on the face but settled on this one.

Sweet Spot and Sound. Yes I liked the feel and sound while hitting within the sweet spot.

more… I recorded myself hitting against a wall with 8 different demo’s switching paddles about every two minutes. Ended up choosing the paddle that I had the most sweet spot hit with.

Little to no hand shock even on edge hits. Some paddles seem to have a resonance that I just don’t like. This one did not

Other than that it's hard to discern between other paddles in the same price range. Time will tell.

Like many paddles this has a plastic grommet on the outside edge that seems to be adequate.

Love this paddle!! My arm/hand doesn't hurt anymore. Going to get one for my husband too.
