The Paddle Felt “Mushy”

I asked a fellow 4.5 player to test the paddle today and his impression was that of mine. The paddle when hitting a drive felt mushy. While the paddle is being touted as providing improved control, it might do so at the cost of losing power. We both felt the paddle under performed in any areas of the game where power was critical.

great for dinks but seems soft for banging.

This paddle has a very nice feel for the soft game but feels to light on harder hit balls. I added 12gms of weight on each side and I beginning to like it better. Overall, I beginning to like it.
