Played a few weeks with this paddle and couldnt be happier. Its got control and power.
Very good paddle. Still figuring it out. I’m working on my consistency with my 3rd shot drops. It’s not the paddle when I miss, it’s the operator. I will hit almost perfect drops then get out of the sweet spot and hit it short. When I hit it right it is awesome. Love it
Has a larger sweet spot and appears my reaction time to contact the ball has been reduced.
My first big step up in equipment since starting to play pickle. Used the gearbox demo program to compare paddles and enjoyed the softness/control/spin of the CX14s, compared to the 14H the 14E provides additional power/leverage on drives, which is why I chose this paddle for both singles and doubles play.
Usually it takes time to adjust to a new paddle, but not in this case. My new CX14E is much like my GX6, but better. Way better. It has a soft feel, creating the sensation (true or not) that the dwell time on the paddle is long. Spin is excellent, but probably only slightly better than the GX6. Most impressive is how SOLID it is. Off center hits do not torque the handle or create vibration. The dispersion pattern of all types of shots is more narrow than any paddle I have played with. Power is more than adequate, and similar to the GX6.
